History and past of the House Schloss Rosenau 5

Around the year 1600 the house was built as a castle tavern in Schloss Rosenau 5 as part of the estate settlement. The lordship of the estate even had its own brewery. The stony borders of the entrance gate show 1852, the year in which the house became a property of the former lordship subjects. Since 1956 the building also features a movie theatre. In 1974 the tavern was closed and since then this manor-house is waiting for a revival. In 2007 Margit Zulehner acquired this in many ways interesting house and redesigned it. „Die Residenz“ was her dream come true.

You all stay in an atrium house, which features brick cross vaults with granite columns, a vinotheque, a nostalgic cinema, a coffee lounge, a lotus lounge as well as a garden terrace. In the inside courtyard you will find an enchanting lotus blossom biotope and the path then leads you to the unique tropical spa area, which is two storeys high and fully constructed out of glass. An organic sauna, a Kneipp foot basin, a meadow, silence oasis, Blue Alpha Sphere loungers, the beauty salon, massage offers and Hot Stone all contribute to a special atmosphere of well-being and offer sensual experience.

For the design we chose the 500-year-old Celtic tree circle.

The Celtic tree of life is said to have a curing effect and is the link between goddess of earth Noreia and the spirit of heaven.
